Management Team

Andrew Taylor is the president and Chief Executive Officer of LACOJ with 10 years of experience in shareware industry. He has primary responsibility for LACOJ Corp. operations and outreach, including overall management of the team, strategic planning, budget, external liaisons and other major events. Prior to joining LACOJ, Andrew worked in investment banking, international business development and strategic planning. Andrew earned his BA in New York University and his MBA in the Stern School of Business of New York University.

Carl Liu, Founder and Chairman of the Executive Committee

Carl Liu, co-founder of LACOJ in 2001, now serves as the chairman of the Executive Committee. Before founding LACOJ, Mr. Liu had been a senior manager in the R&D departments for many companies in Silicon Valley and China. He also had worked as a consultant for UC Berkeley for four years. Carl earned his BA in Northern Jiaotong University of China and his MBA in Stanford University.

Michael Cheng, Founder and Senior Vice President

Michael Cheng has been responsible for the company's corporate strategy since Sep, 2004, such as mergers and acquisitions, information systems and shared services. During his working experience with LACOJ, Michael has taken charge of a number of positions: Vice President, Business Process Simplification and Corporate Controller, Senior Vice President, and Finance. Mr. Cheng earned his master's degree in Brown University.

Ahna Duha, Chief Technology Officer

Ahna is an experienced technology and management professional with extensive experience in Software and Systems Architecture, e-business performance management, and delivering software and technology as a service methodology. Prior to LACOJ, he served as Director of R&D at PICL Graphics Corp.. There he was responsible for software development and engineering management for the Board/Systems division and instrumental in creating a strategic partnership with major customers for RF/Wireless Design solutions.

Tracy Chu, International Marketing Director

In her role, Tracy is responsible for marketing and product development to meet the needs of our clients worldwide. Tracy joined LACOJ in 2003 and was in charge of business development and marketing. She recently served as senior director in LACOJ, supervising product development, pricing, customer retention and marketing strategy for the business's portfolio of multimedia products.
