Management Team

Andrew Taylor is the president and Chief Executive Officer of LACOJ. He has 10 years of experience in shareware industry. He has primary responsibility for LACOJ Corp. operations and outreach, including overall management of the team, strategic planning, budget, external liaisons and other major events.Prior to joining LACOJ, Andrew worked in investment banking, international business development and strategic planning. Andrew earned his BA from New York University and his MBA from the Stern School of Business of New York University.

Carl Liu, Founder and Chairman of the Executive Committee

Carl Liu co-founded LACOJ in 2001 and now serves as the chairman of the Executive Committee.Before founding LACOJ, Mr. Liu had been a senior manager in the R&D departments for a couple of companies in Silicon Valley and China. He previously worked as a consultant for UC berkeley, for four years. Carl graduated from Northern Jiaotong University and holds a master's degree from Stanford University.

Michael Cheng, Founder and Senior Vice President

Michael Cheng is responsible for the company's corporate strategy, including mergers and acquisitions, information systems and shared services. Mr. Cheng has held this position since September 2004.During his tenure with LACOJ, Michael has held a number of positions, including:Vice President,Business Process Simplification and Corporate Controller, Senior Vice President,Finance. Mr. Cheng earned his master's degree from Brown University.

Ahna Duha, Chief Technology Officer

Ahna is a seasoned technology and management professional with extensive experience in Software and Systems Architecture, e-business performance management, and delivering software and technology as a service methodology. Prior to LACOJ, he served as Director of R&D at PICL Graphics Corp., an Electronic Design Automation technology leader. There he was responsible for software development and engineering management for the Board/Systems division and instrumental in creating a strategic partnership with major customers for RF/Wireless Design solutions.

Tracy Chu, International Marketing Director

In her role, Tracy is responsible for ensuring that LACOJ's marketing and product development efforts are aligned in driving innovative solutions that meet the "business of law" needs of our clients worldwide. Tracy joined LACOJ in 2003 and has held several senior business development and marketing positions. She recently served as senior director for LACOJ, where she oversaw product development, pricing, customer retention and marketing strategy for the business's portfolio of multimedia products.
